A few weeks back in London, a few of people from the Paradise Artists team had the opportunity to experience the thunderous Rock & raw magnanimous power that is Tripdavon first hand. After stepping off the stage at Royal Albert Hall they knew they wanted us.
We are excited to announce this new partnership with such a terrific agency & group of people. With their help, the '08-'09 season will be a fantastic one!

GUEST VOCALIST FOR DISHWALLA

Our good friend and one of the producers of our last album Jim Wood, recently asked Justin if he would be the guest vocalist for a handful of dates this summer for Dishwalla including Rockfest with Matchbox 20 & The Wallflowers.
Without hesitation, Justin jumped at the opportunity. J.R. Richards is putting the finishing touches on his solo debut album and isn't able to make the dates.

NEW LYRICS & CHORDS SECTION ONLINE

One of the drawbacks to some digital downloads are the lack of a cool album insert with photos and LYRICS that usually come with a physical product. That being said, enough people have asked us over recent months for the lyrics and chords to our songs that we decided to make a new section of the site devoted to that purpose.
As of now, all the lyrics from the past two albums are posted online.The Chords portion of the section will come over time (depending on how much you guys hassle Greg & Adam to update them).
So if you're itching to find a Tripdavon lyric: cruise over to the music section!

ROYAL ALBERT HALL

Eric Burdon has announced that he will re-unite for the first time in 37 years with legendary 70's funk band War for a one night appearance at The Royal Albert Hall in London, England on April 21st 2008. As if that weren't enough, they've requested that Tripdavon be the opener for this momentous occasion. Needless to say, we're absolutely thrilled and honored to be a part of this concert.
Along with the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Sly and the Family Stone and Santana, Eric Burdon and War was one of rock's first multi-racial outfits with hits that included "Tobacco Road," "Blues for Memphis Slim" and of course the chart-topping "Spill the Wine" that introduced the masses to the group in 1970. War went on to record hits such as "Lowrider" and "Why Can't We be Friends?"

We are taking over Austin, Texas for South by Southwest 2008. If you are brave enough to venture out into the madness, you can find your favorite band fighting the elements and Queso-Dip to play a number of shows over the course of the week long musical event. Hope to see you out there!

92.9 KjEE in Santa Barbara,CA has chosen Tripdavon as the station's "Pick of the Week" for a 3rd time since the release of "The Enlightened Operative" album. This is the most any single artist had been bestowed such an honor in the stations history. To celebrate the event, the band will come in to the studio for a live rare acoustic performance.
In addition, the band will once again play a live concert at Sandbar in Santa Barbara with KjEE that's sponsored by Guitar Center.

TRIPDAVON WORKS WITH LIVE EARTH

Tripdavon has officially joined the global movement to combat the climate crisis. Starting immediately with their 2007 Summer tour, the band has hired the first van rental company in the US to be 100% carbon neutral, to substantially reduce the amount of greenhouse gasses produced by constant traveling during a tour.

PARY WITH A PURPOSE WHEELS DOWN PINE

On Sunday, Long Beach residents will cheer on the cyclists of the Amgen Tour of California as they ride through the city as part of the last leg of their 650-mile race. But the celebration is slated to start long before the cyclists cross the finish line.
Through the night, several bands will perform onstage, including local group The Emperors, as well as Tripdavon and The Bravery. Some of the “Legends of Cycling” also will be making rounds to meet and greet fans, such as Tour d’France winner Greg LeMond, former skater Eric Hyden and Long Beach native Tony Cruz of Team Discovery.

SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL

Gibson Guitars recently invited the band to jam at the infamous "Gibson Lodge" in Park City, UT during the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. While visiting, the band also made contributions to Project Green House to help spread awareness of eco-conscious living.
The Sundance Film Festival ranks as one of the most prestigious in the world. It is the largest independent cinema festival in the U.S. Held annually in Park City, Salt Lake City, and Ogden, Utah as well as at the Sundance Resort, the festival is the premiere showcase for new work from American and international independent filmmakers.
