This month, we are finishing up the last few tracks that will go on our new album release for our label, Ripple. Included in that list of tracks will be a handful of new live acoustic versions of some tracks you've already enjoyed.
Sections are arent completed yet will bounce back to our facebook page until we can add more content. Eventually it will be fully loaded & better than ever with more pics, vids, and music!

So you may (or may not) have noticed that our main site is undergoing a facelift at the moment. We have realized the last site sucked and have decided to start again, incorporating elements and news from the old site(s) into the new hotness, with the added flavor of facebook sweetness.

92.9 KjEE in Santa Barbara has once again chosen Tripdavon and the single "Annalise" as the station's "Pick of the Week".
This is the fourth time Trip has been chosen and the first time a track from the lastest album "Sketechs from Silence" has been picked. Thanks to everyone in SB who listened in and spread the word!

Of course it wouldnt be long after inking our deal with the Ripple guys, that they would want us to get back to work in the studio.
So we're buying some fresh packs of guitar strings and a couple new drumsticks so we can cook up a couple new gems to sprinkle on you soon.

We have been a little behind in updating the main site. We are on Facebook and MySpace more often these days. However we just wanted to let everyone know that we have been hard at work recording what will be our third studio album set for release in 2009. We are excited to share the new material with everyone and push the "sound" of the band in new directions. A few weeks back in London, a few of people from the Paradise Artists team had the opportunity to experience the thunderous Rock & raw magnanimous power that is Tripdavon first hand. After stepping off the stage at Royal Albert Hall they knew they wanted us.
We are excited to announce this new partnership with such a terrific agency & group of people. With their help, the '08-'09 season will be a fantastic one!

Our good friend and one of the producers of our last album Jim Wood, recently asked Justin if he would be the guest vocalist for a handful of dates this summer for Dishwalla including Rockfest with Matchbox 20 & The Wallflowers.
Of course, Justin jumped at the opportunity. J.R. Richards is putting the finishing touches on his solo debut album and isn't able to make the dates.

NEW LYRICS & CHORDS SECTION ONLINE

One of the drawbacks to some digital downloads are the lack of a cool album insert with photos and LYRICS that usually come with a physical product. That being said, enough people have asked us over recent months for the lyrics and chords to our songs that we decided to make a new section of the site devoted to that purpose.
As of now, all the lyrics from the past two albums are posted online.The Chords portion of the section will come over time (depending on how much you guys hassle Greg & Adam to update them).
So if you're itching to find a Tripdavon lyric: cruise over to the music section!

Eric Burdon has announced that he will re-unite for the first time in 37 years with legendary 70's funk band War for a one night appearance at The Royal Albert Hall in London, England on April 21st 2008. As if that weren't enough, they've requested that Tripdavon be the opener for this momentous occasion. Needless to say, we're absolutely thrilled and honored to be a part of this concert.
Along with the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Sly and the Family Stone and Santana, Eric Burdon and War was one of rock's first multi-racial outfits with hits that included "Tobacco Road," "Blues for Memphis Slim" and of course the chart-topping "Spill the Wine" that introduced the masses to the group in 1970. War went on to record hits such as "Lowrider" and "Why Can't We be Friends?"

Tripdavon has officially joined the global movement to combat the climate crisis. Starting immediately with their 2007 Summer tour, the band has hired the first van rental company in the US to be 100% carbon neutral, to substantially reduce the amount of greenhouse gasses produced by constant traveling during a tour.

On Sunday, Long Beach residents will cheer on the cyclists of the Amgen Tour of California as they ride through the city as part of the last leg of their 650-mile race. But the celebration is slated to start long before the cyclists cross the finish line.
Through the night, several bands will perform onstage, including local group The Emperors, as well as Tripdavon and The Bravery. Some of the “Legends of Cycling” also will be making rounds to meet and greet fans, such as Tour d’France winner Greg LeMond, former skater Eric Hyden and Long Beach native Tony Cruz of Team Discovery.

Gibson Guitars recently invited the band to jam at the infamous "Gibson Lodge" in Park City, UT during the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. While visiting, the band also made contributions to Project Green House to help spread awareness of eco-conscious living.
The Sundance Film Festival ranks as one of the most prestigious in the world. It is the largest independent cinema festival in the U.S. Held annually in Park City, Salt Lake City, and Ogden, Utah as well as at the Sundance Resort, the festival is the premiere showcase for new work from American and international independent filmmakers.
